Mine was filed on July 31 as per FEDEX tracking number was received by C. Houge....I am hoping to receive my RNs on the first week of September based on the rate as per USCIS Receipt Processing Notice....

There was and continues to be lot of discussion around multiple 485s. When USCIS is adjudicating a 485, they look at other pending 485s and cancel them. I had two 485s - 1 on EB3 and the other EB2. EB2 became current recently. They approved the EB2 one and rejected the EB3. So you can have multiple 485s.

FYI, people who sent applications on Jun 22th to NSC and their I-140 were approved at TSC, have not received receipts yet.
NSC is around 10 days ahead TSC issuing receipts.
I would say, July filers be patient.

Very well written. We need this kind of language material to present to our friends. You got my contribution. How do I donate $20? I don't see tab for that money on page. Minimum for one time contribution I see is $100. Also is there any way that I do not have to use paypal and directly use my cc to pay?
Also not all of us are as good in writing or speaking the same language. I am glad you understand the pains of IV core but unfortunately all of us have not gone through the same things as you have. So we surely need some convincing on part of IV. This post I see is right step. I need some more info to present to my friends, as to why they should contribute. That would be perfect.

When some one decides to apply AC21 by having an offer from another employer, it is not clear if one is required to inform USCIS about it. Some say one should, others say, not required. Has anyone seen any USCIS position on it? If not, perhaps we should make this as a question for next Ombudsman's conference call.

Looks like they are processing EAD and AP (in the mail room itself:) ) along with receipts. No point in touching the same application twice or thrice. If you get a receipt then you should also get EAD and AP:):).
It's very frustrating.. TSC is sitting on our application or what? Approx 30K application are there for July 2nd filer including NSC->TSC transfer(per old NYT report). We see reporting of 1 or 2 receipting a day then few quite days. :mad::mad::mad:
It will approx 60 days since filing and still waiting for Receipt. What a heck..

Guys, I finally got my notices today after 9 months. I called customer service on numerous occasions and opened 2 SR. Most recently, after my case was transferred to NSC, I called the service center on 04/28 and finally they scheduled me. I got an LUD on 04/28 after the call and another one on 04/29. Today I have the notices in my hand with an appointment date of 05/13.
If you're still waiting for your notices, call the service center, explain your situation and don't stop calling until you see an LUD on your case.

Been in the US since 1998, have an EB-2 PD of 2001, have played by the rules all along. Still no GC... And, the dates are going back to 2000 from the new year.. I've lost hopes...
A: I suggest you to have a trip in India and visit some places like Dharavi,
Mumbai. If you do not want to go to India, Just take a trip to Brooklyn, NY
You will see lots of souls in a such condition, you will start feeling better.
I would not say this is nice way to feel good but that is the qucikest thing
I can think of. What I mean to say is do not feel hopeless as you are in a
way better condition than millions. And those millions have not lost hope
and faith. Yes, you do not have GC so I also do not have GC. I do not
have assets like what Bill Gates or Anil Ambani has. So now I get a good
reason to depress and feel hopeless. Should I start feeling depressed?
I'm pretty close to getting clinical depression because of this game played by USCIS, Labor Dept, FBI and my own bad luck.
SKILL bill, OMNIBUS, etc. comes and goes. IV does seem to be doing things to lobby for the community, but let's face one reality. Like a news article said, no one in congress or senate wants to touch immigration even with a long pole until 2009.
Ans: World history is full of events when people have done and made success
against all odds. Have confidence and faith in yourself. Stand up to
challenge the problems and entities who impose the problem on you.
The US has been very good to me (other than the GC part), more than my home country (India) which is why I'm still here.
Question: Have you done anything good for India or planning to do any good
for USA? Or it is always about yourself?
Have invested too much of time in this country to just pack up and go.

Are you planning to go back to India after packing up? Just curious.
