After having been following most of the EB3 related threads looks like EB3 folks are on their own. It would be great if we get any help from any quarter but I think it's fine even if we don't.We need to do something/everything that we can to generate noise apart from of course following all the IV campaigns .

I have no problem with porting, but the priority date should be starting from when they acquired required qualifications for the job.
Example, if someone with B.S and 2 years experience had applied in EB3 in 2005 and tries to port now I think it is fair to have the ported PD not in 2005, but 2008 when the person acquired B.S + 5 years experience.
This would automatically address all those folks who deserved to be in EB2 but couldnt either becuase lawyer screwed up or issues with sponsoring company.
The priority date should be always based on the particular labor filling or the filing of I140 (which ever applicable)
I am not against anyone getting GC. If everyome gets GC today, I am all for it. But no solution is in sight. But that does not mean someone elase will try to push EB2 back.
Therefore just wanted to let EB2 guys realize what will happen to them if no action is taken.

I just feel so sorry about your understanding of the modern economics. If you think , by asking foreign born workers to go back you can get more access to the so called "wealth" you are talking about , its time you enroll for an Economics 101 . It is your proud America that has long been shouting from the rooftops about the need to have more open borders, facilitate global transfer of knowledge and commodities . Anyway , I dont think I have to even argue with you as you need lots of orientation before I get into a meaningful debate with you . I am happy for one thing thou , that inspite of zealots like you America has had great visionaries in tha past that made this country the only existing super power in the world , else it would have been like another Eastern European country .

I landed in June 2006 in Toronto. If anybody needs information please feel free to ask.
What documents, applications need to be filled out after we land in Canada; in-terms of applying for the Resident Card, Social Insurance Number etc. I don't even know what else needs to be filled out.
Can we fill these applications on-line or must be fill them out only after we have landed physically in Canada?
After landing, how long before we can come back to the USA for resuming our job?

I have a unique position. couple of weeks back I was told that have fatal cancer and won't live pass 4-6 months. After recovering from initial shock I am wondering if my wife will be able to continue her american dream or she will have to head home after me.
I have filed 485 with approved 140 back in june, 2007 with PD of March, 2003
Please help.

Question to IV core...
After receiving the standard email respose from the congressman/senator...I am wondering are they even aware about the legal immigrants. All we are getting the standard template which is talking about only illegals and DREAM.

Please read my earlier responses on this thread. We need to now take up this issue further and tell them we did not get satisfactory response and need serious attention to our issue as a constituent.

I am pretty sure you have investigated all options, but don't give up hope and most of all don't get beaten down. Keep the sprits up. A happy heart and mind can cure what medicines cannot.
When the going gets tough- the tough gets going.
Enjoy with your family. Do what is right by them. Wish you happyness & health.

Thank you all for your help and support but I have made peace with my fate. I have pancreas cancer with VERY poor pragnosis and trust me I took 5 different opinions with the some of the best hospitals in US and Europe.
Regarding my family, something is working out in Sweden and probably all of us will move there permanently in 1-2 months. We have some relatives living there.
Thanks again for all you help. You guys really made us feel we are not alone.

Adding dependents/derivative is based on primary�s PD and app status.
Challenge me with a scenario that will have an issue. If someone doesn�t have H4 they will be affected anyways. They will not have additional impact due to this.
Please read INA, I485 application and current VB.

(2) If she cannot file and what if my company insist me to be on EAD and resufe to extend my H1b. What will be status of my wife.. ( Assuming she didnot file AOS while I did ).
(3) What will be her category or status if I am lucky and get GC in 2 months since my date become current ?
