I don't think you should make it a big deal. I know it hurts you and your family to see PD question you, but they were doing their job based on someone's complaint. Moreover you don't want to complicate matters, and put you in the spotlight for nothing.

I had the same issue with Country of Citizenship.
So when sending supporting docs, I attached a page in front (with super large font and different color paper) requesting this correction for Country of Birth. Everything went through fine and got EAD.

USCIS demand sheet shows 17000 GC inventory until 2006. When the EB1 spillover to EB2 is 12000, don't understand how the dates moved less than 2 months. It looks like USCIS is very confused and making us all confused.

My lawyer had asked me to send them money orders for the filing so I don't have any confirmation of the payments but can always print out the application status online. let me know.

I have applied for my EAD and I-485 in the month of June '07 and all that i have recieved so far is my wife's EAD. I still did not recieve my EAD nor the finger prints notice nor the 485 yet. I have to move to IL from TX now and i am in a big confusion now. I heard that the mails from the USICS will not be forwarded to any new address by the USPS. Labor filed with company A in April 2006 and I-140 EB2 approved in May 2007. Could not file I-485 last year due to personal reasons.
Changed the Job to company B in Sep 2007.Company B filed PERM EB2 in Feb 2008 and got approved in Aril 2008. I-140 filed in June 2008 with priority date recapture request and still pending.
My 6th year of H1B is expiring in March 2009.
My question is, can I file my I-485 based on my previously approved EB2 I140.
What should be best approach for me? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I'm understanding now and thanks but I still didn't understand why a guy from EB3 ROW with PD March 2004 is receiving now I-485 approval (GC) if the last VB shows 01 AUG, 2002?

whatever is the reason of revoking ? I just want to know if employer revokes an approved I140 withing 180 days of filling, will the employee know about it.

You cannot know about a revoked I-140.
But if you filed a 485 based on that 140, then since 140 denial/revoking automatically closes the 485, you will get a denial notice for the 485 and that is how you know.

I had filled A # from I-140 in my 485 application form, but my 485 receipts shows different A #, both my I-140 and different number from 485 receipt starts with 088, I am primary applicant and my spouse's A # are different too and her numbers also starts with 088.
